LocationIlha Quisiva (12°36’02” S 40°35’52” E) is a coralline African Island which falls within the Parque Nacionale das Quirimbas. The Island is approximately 339 hectare (830 acre) in size, lying 3.6km (2.1 mile) off the shores of northern Mozambique on the south east coast of Africa. Ilha Quisiva is located approximately 32km (19 mile) north of the town of Pemba and is the 3rd most southerly island of the 27 islands comprising the Quirimbas Archipelago which stretches north for approximately 360km (217 mile) from the town of Pemba in the south to the Rovuma River on the Mozambican border with Tanzania in the north.
